Salmon River Report 9/15 published 11 September 2017
The Salmon River is flowing at 500 CFS until midnight tonight. Today's fishing remained very good with a lot of fish middle river up. The DSR was decent today but a little slower then up above. The best fishing right now is from the staircase to the Sportsman's Pool, but good catches came all the way up to Altmar.. From all reports we're getting the estuary has lots of fish in it and the lake fishing is still very good.Night fishing at the river mouth of the Salmon River is also producing nice catches. The next couple of weeks should bring in the motherload the way things are going now. Lots of big Cohos and Kings in the river now.
