River Report: 10/16/2022

published 16 October 2022

What a crazy end to last week!  We got a ton of rain and the river shot up to almost 2,000CFS!  Two days later it was down below 500 lol. High water sent a bunch of chrome into the river, beginning the steelhead run a little early!  We don’t need anymore rain.  Both reservoirs are full to the top and we need some time to settle

There are also still plenty of kings and coho in the river. Guys are still limiting, and part of the reason for that is fewer guys on the river. The fishing in the LFZ and UFZ has been great also.

Guys are also catching them in Erie now, as we are starting to get our first few pics of steelhead from out that way.

Looking forward to seeing you guys this week!
