Salmon River Report 9/24

published 24 September 2015

Not much change in the last 2 days with the weather pattern staying the same and the fish entering the river in small pods each day. We had a foggy morning which has now turned into another mid 70's sunny afternoon. The river flow continues at 350 CFS until midnight tonight. Most of the major holes on the river are holding some fish with early morning producing the best action for most fisherman. Large bodied flies and egg sacs are good choices for salmon right now. There has also been a few Steelhead and Browns being caught along with the Kings and Cohos.
