Salmon River and Lake Ontario Reports

published 13 September 2014

Rain and cold is what we have today with the high here in Pulaski forecast for 58 degrees. Not a lot of change since yesterday on the river with most of the deeper holes holding a few fish. Moving around seems to be the best way to find fish as there isn't much movement of the fish we have in the Salmon River now.The Ball Park and the Staircase have some action along with the Sportsman, and trestle pool. Comet flies and Estaz flies are working. The water flow remains at 350 CFS until midnight Monday 9/15 and the river temperature is down to 63 degrees. The river remains a 2 on our scale.

Fisherman are back out on Lake Ontario after the blow and continue to catch Kings. The Lake is a 4 on our scale.
