The kings and coho's have staged off the river in 80-105 feet of water. The best lures has been a j-plug size 4 Silver with a bloody nose, and a Pro Troll green E-chIp with an A-Tom-Mik Crinkle Green Fly in the morning, when the sun comes out it's been a Pig Pen E-chip with an A-Tom-Mik Big Fin Fly. The Lake continues to be a 5 on our scale.
The Salmon River is running at 335 CFS and there have been a few fish in the lower river. The best baits have been comet flies, egg sacs, and single rubber eggs. The Salmon River is still between a 1 and a 2 on our scale as we wait for the first real run to hit the river.
