Salmon River Report 9/6/20

published 07 September 2020

Today there were a lot of anglers in the lower end of the river that reported seeing a lot of movement in the early morning.  Some anglers reported seeing over 100 fish total with multiple anglers bringing home their limit.  The next few days should have really good fishing from the town pool up.  Early morning water temps have been recorded as low as mid 50s with afternoons being in the low 60s.  Cool night temps and decent amounts of rains have pushed fish.  We hope this is a sign of a great 2020 run!

Hot Flies:  green or black wolly buggers/egg sucking leech
