Lake Ontario-Salmon River Report 8/22 published 22 August 2017
The fishing from Oswego to the Salmon River, up to Sandy Pond is very good from 95 to 130 feet of water. The best setups have been a Hammer Time Echip with a white meat rig, also a green dot UV Spin Doctor with an ultra green glow fly. or try a carbon 14 UV spoon.
The Salmon River is flowing at 350 CFS until midnight Thursday August 24th. There has been a salmon spotted here and there in the river but nothing to go crazy about yet.
