Salmon River Report 10/28

published 28 October 2015

Nasty weather today with very strong winds and lots of rain. Early this morning the fishing was actually pretty good before the winds and rain started up with some very nice Steelhead being caught. Not as many salmon around at this point, as there are Steelhead along with a few browns. The rain we're getting is much needed and after today most of the leaves should be off the trees which will help. Still  good action in the fly zones and much of the river is seeing nice catches of Steelhead. The DSR is reporting slower fishing on their end of the river. Seasonal temperatures through the weekend and the water flow remains at 350 CFS until midnight tonight. Here's a few fish caught the last couple of days on the river.
