Salmon River Report

published 06 October 2014

The lower part of the river fished a little slower today than over the weekend as the big push of fish made its way farther upstream. From the staircase to the 2A bridge was where the action seems to have moved to. Temperatures will be in the 50's and 60's this week for highs with some rain possible. The water flow remains at 350 CFS until Midnight Monday 10/6. If you're headed up soon you should be hitting it just right. The DSR today was either a 2 or 3 depending on how low you fished, from the staircase up to the 2A bridge was a 4, and from the 2A bridge upstream is a 2 or a 3 depending how far up you were.
