Salmon River Report

published 28 September 2014

Warm and sunny days continue with temperatures expected to be in the mid 70's all next week. Much colder weather and rain are headed our way for next weekend. Not much has changed since yesterday we do have fish throughout the river but not in large numbers and the hot weather isn't helping. Lots of fishermen in town for the weekend has put added pressure on the fish we do have in the river making for difficult fishing. The deeper pools continue to produce the best after the first hour or so in the morning, being on the river first thing in the morning has been the best bet for getting some action.  and no rain for the next several days. The water flow remains at 350 CFS until midnight Sunday 9/28. On our scale the River remains a 2.
