Salmon River Report

published 21 September 2014

Once again this morning saw some early fish movement but it didn't last very long. The deeper pools continue to produce the best after the first hour or so in the morning on the river. It's raining now with heavy rain at times forecast for this afternoon and into the evening. The estuary is still showing signs of fish so maybe this rain will push them up into the river. Rain is also expected Monday with a high of only 55 degrees. The water flow remains at 350 CFS until midnight Sunday 9/21. On our scale the River is still a 2.
