Salmon River Report

published 20 September 2014

Today seems to be a bit better with a few more fish being caught. Still not a lot of movement though and most of the fish being caught are coming out of the deeper pools on the river. Last night the drift boats outside the mouth of the Salmon River had the best night yet with some nice catches reported. The lower river is still pretty slow so maybe tomorrows rain that is forecast will get them going. The water flow remains at 350 CFS until midnight Sunday 9/21. On our scale the River is still a 2.

This fish was caught with Captain Andy Bliss from Chasin' Tail Adventures last night outside the mouth of the Salmon River.
