Salmon River Action Stays Hot published 07 May 2014
The Salmon River water flow is 1500 CFS until midnight Thursday. The sportsman pool has been on fire with fish being caught on Pink worms from both Raven and Berkley, also 10mm ontario-roe beads have gotten the job done.
The brown trout fishing is good from the Salmon River all the way to the other side of Oswego in 8-15 feet of water with fish being caught on Michigan Stinger standard size Tri-Klops and Rapala Scatter Raps in gold fluorescent red and gold. Some King Salmon are also coming to the net like the one below that Chuck Rutt caught with Al Adomitis aboard the Hook-N-Up out of Oswego.
