published 26 April 2014

The water flow on the Salmon River remains at 1800 CFS until midnight tonight. Fishing from Pineville downstream is very good with lots of Steelhead dropping back after spawning. Berkley pink bubblegum worms continue to work very well, along with egg sacs. The shallow water Brown Trout fishing on Lake Ontario is now in full swing with very good fishing from Mexico Point to the Nuke plant in about 20' of water.Hot Lures right now are Amber Gator, and Johnny's Buster in standard size Michigan Stingers. The hottest stickbaits have been Smithwicks in chrome with blue back, Chrome with a black back and orange belly, and Rapala scatter rap yellow perch.
