Salmon River back up to 3000 CFS till Wednesday at Midnight published 22 April 2014
The Salmon River flow is 3000 CFS until midnight Wednesday night. The upper river is fishing well from the Trestle pool downstream to Pineville. The best baits on the Salmon River have been 10 mm chartreuse glow beads, and Berkley Pink bubble gum worms. The Lake Ontario fishing has been good from the Salmon River down to Selkirk Shores State Park. The best lures for browns on this end of the lake have been Michigan Stinger Standard size spoons in UV black tuxedo, and the Sea Sick Waddler. For stick baits Smithwicks in silver/black, and blue/silver have been very good.
