Salmon River and Lake Ontario are heating up published 21 April 2014
The Salmon River is at 2250 CFS. Fishing throughout the river has been good with drop backs being most of the fish caught.The Salmon River flow should drop lower sometime this week. Most fish are being caught with pink worms, and 10mm Steelhead snot beads.
The Lake Ontario Brown trout fishing has been very good with fish being caught on Storm Jr. Thundersticks, and Michigan Stinger Amber Gator Standard size spoons.
