Salmon River Report 9/14

published 14 September 2018

There's a good mix of Kings and Cohos in the river with fish at least as far up as Pineville in fishable numbers. The DSR reported fish movement this morning with the lower end of the run slower, Most of the action was reported happening in the upper and middle sections. Things have slowed down as the sun came out and the temperatures have gotten above 80 degrees. Look for more of the same this weekend with most fish movement early and then again late in the day. Warm daytime temperatures may slow additional fish from entering the river but that's not always the case. The Staircase, and Ballpark have also had good action the last two mornings.
