Salmon River Report 10/17 published 17 October 2017
The Salmon River if flowing at 335 CFS until 11:59 PM today, Tuesday. The best Salmon Fishing is now in the upper half of the river. You can still find Salmon in the lower half and some new Salmon are still entering the river but in much smaller numbers than the last couple of weeks. The lower part of the river has seen a big increase in the number of Steelhead with good action yesterday at the ball park. Much cooler weather will continue to drop the water temperature down, which will be good for the trout.
