Salmon River Report 10/16

published 16 October 2015

Late yesterday and again this morning we've seen a nice movement of fish coming out of the estuary and into the river. Most of these fish seem to be Steelhead with some Kings and Browns mixed in.The  upper half of the river continues to fish pretty well as fish move upstream looking to spawn. Some rain in the forecast for today and tomorrow, with temperatures getting colder through the weekend, Saturday and Sunday won't get out of the 40's. Water flow remains at 350 CFS until midnight tonight. Tristan who works at the shop, when we can get him out of the river caught these two beauties 2 days ago.
