Salmon River Report

published 12 October 2014

Steelhead are the story of the day as it seems there are as many being caught as Kings from about the ball park all the way down through the DSR. The upper half of the river is spotty with fish in one place and not many in the next. Start early, put in your time and you should be rewarded with some hookups. Today is sunny with the high near 65 degrees. There is rain in the forecast for 8 of the next 9 days with only Tuesday dry and warm. The water flow is 350 CFS until midnight Sunday 10/12. The river is a 3 for the bottom half and a 2 for the upper half.
