Salmon River Report

published 25 September 2014

Another sunny day with temperatures in the 70's. A little better movement first thing this morning down low but it stopped once the sun was up.Things remain about the same as they have been for the last several days with fish throughout the river but no larger numbers. We got the best report we've had on the action in the estuary and also the guys fishing at night outside the mouth of the Salmon River. Now we just need to get those fish to move up into the main river. The deeper pools continue to produce the best after the first hour or so in the morning on the river. Conditions aren't great but guys putting their time in are catching some fish. The weather looks good for most of the week ahead with temperatures forecast in the 70's, and no rain for the next several days. The water flow remains at 350 CFS until midnight Thursday 9/25. On our scale the River is remains a 2.
