Salmon River Report

published 23 September 2014

Temperatures made it into the upper 60's today with sun and clouds. Fishing continues about the same as we have been seeing with fish throughout the river but no larger numbers. In 10 minutes standing on the Short bridge around noon I did see some Salmon swimming along with 2 hookups. The deeper pools continue to produce the best after the first hour or so in the morning on the river. The weather looks good for most of the week with temperatures in the 70's next weekend. The water flow remains at 350 CFS until midnight Thursday 9/25. On our scale the River is still a 2.

This King was caught by Raymond Page from Gilbertsville, PA. above the Black Hole yesterday.
