Salmon River and Lake Ontario Reports

published 17 September 2014

Another day with just a few fresh fish coming into the Salmon RIver. The good news is there are fish in the estuary and, all the fish the Lake Charters were seeing in around 100 feet of water were gone this morning. The water flow remains at 350 CFS until midnight tonight 9/17. Tomorrows high isn't supposed to reach 60 degrees and then drop into the 30's tomorrow night. A mix of Kings, Coho's, Browns , and Steelhead are being caught but not big numbers of fish. The River is a 2  on our scale. The Lake fishery is still going but starting to wind down. The Lake is a 3 on our scale.
