Lake Ontario Report

published 23 June 2014

The fishing out deep is still good with lots of Steelhead along with a few Kings being caught. The best lures over the weekend were the Michigan Stinger Stingray size Black Widow, and the FN Wiggler. Brown Trout are showing up in 30-50 feet of water with a couple of good lures for them being, a Blade Runner Spoon in the ,44 size Smooth Chartreuse, and also a standard size Michigan Stinger Can't Afford It UV.

This was the biggest Salmon caught during the A-TOM-MIK Challenge this past weekend aboard the charter boat Prime Time Fishing with Captain Pete Lahosky. The Salmon was caught by Kirsten Merritt and weighted 22lb 8oz. The king also sits in 2nd place in the LOC Summer derby. You can contact Captain Pete Lahosky on his cell at 610-442-4572.
