Water flow on the Salmon River is 1800 CFS until midnight Saturday. Steelhead fishing continues to be very good with fish throughout the river. The best baits has been Raven pink worms, and a 10mm bead made by Great Lakes Steelhead Co.called The Jug.
The brown trout fishing from Selkirk to Sandy Pond has been good in 7-15 feet of water. The best baits for Browns on Lake Ontario have been Smithwick ARB 1226, Michigan Stinger UV NBK,and the UV Pickle Seed both in the standard size. Lake Trout are also being caught in 80 feet of water off the Nuke Plant on Michigan Stinger UV Sea Sick Waddler in standard and stingray sizes.
