Salmon River Report

published 02 October 2014

Today looked much like yesterday as far as fish coming into the river, we got some but not as many as we would like to see. Yet again we hit 80 degrees today with sunny conditions. Tomorrow will start out warm but the rain is coming tomorrow night and the temperatures will be dropping into the 50's on Saturday and Sunday. The fishing isn't fantastic but its the best we've had so far this season with fish spread throughout the river. Come up and put your time in on the river and you should be rewarded with some action. We did hear of some good action in the Sandy's this morning. The deeper pools continue to produce the best after the first hour or so in the morning. The water flow remains at 350 CFS until midnight Thursday 10/2.
