Salmon River Report 10/2

published 02 October 2015

Fishing continues to produce if you're willing to move around with lots of Coho's in the river, the best production today was from the town pool up to the sportsmans pool. Fish are being caught throughout the river in most of the major pools including both fly zones so don't be afraid to try different spots if your favorite isn't producing for you. Last night before dark there was a small run of mostly Kings at the DSR but this morning we didn't see much continuation. The colder temperatures are going to be sticking around for sometime, however we aren't forecast to get any of the rain that the east coast is getting this weekend. The fishing should continue to improve over the next few weeks as we head towards Columbus Day weekend and the middle of October.
