Lake Ontario and Salmon River Report

The salmon are scattered from 120 feet of water all the way out over 600 feet of water. The most productive lures have been Michigan Stinger Diehard, and Fatnancys in the Stingray sizeMichigan Stinger E-chips,Pig Pen 1 with an A-Tom-Mik big fin fly, and a Green E-chip with an A-Tom-Mik ultra green glo fly.The brown trout fishing is still good in 85-90 feet of water, best lure has been a Blade Runner  #44 chartreuse green,chartreuse flash. We haven't had any reports of Salmon showing up in the river yet but a few should start to show up in the near future. We will keep you posted when they arrive.
